Creation of the World

His art expresses visual experience of the whole of the world. He is fascinated with the beauty of the Earth, the blossom of nature, and worried about destruction. A characteristic feature of Ciurlionis' art is dualistic perception of existence, rendered by contrasts of chaos and harmony, life and death, creation and annihilation, light and darkness, dynamics and statics.
